Community Talks is a new programme from Rushden Higham Ferrers Litter Wombles, created to bring local people together through informative talks, practical training and opportunities to connect with others.
Our launch event will take place on Tuesday 15 September 2026, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, at The Windmill Sports & Social Club, Glassbrook Road, Rushden.
This will be followed by Basic Life Support Training on Tuesday 13 October 2026, from 5:45pm to 8:00pm. The training will be provided by JR First Aid Training and, due to the practical nature of the session, places are strictly limited.
All attendees must register in advance and complete a registration form. To request a form, please email rhflwcommittee@gmail.com.
Community Talks is open to everyone, not only members of Rushden Higham Ferrers Litter Wombles. Attendance is free of charge, although donations to support our work are always welcome.
Food will be provided, with the menu announced nearer the time registration will help us determine how much food is required and dietary requirements.
