Welcome to our New Website
The Rushden Higham Ferrers Litter Wombles is a constituted non for profit community group set up in the Rushden & Higham Ferrers area with the aim of enhancing our environment and bringing the community together.
The group was first set up in Rushden in 2024 with the support of neighbouring Wellie Wombles under the Wellingborough Eco Group Umbrella.
In 2025 the Rushden Higham Ferrers Litter Wombles set up its own constitution, bank account & committee although no longer part of the Wellingborough Eco Group Community Interest Company, the Rushden Higham Ferrers Litter Wombles still works closely with both groups with the same objective of keeping our towns clean & green.
Our volunteers are recognised throughout the town with their green hi-viz jackets on as the local hero’s that keep our town clean.
